We stock a range of pre-coloured sensors called dolphin, they are available in black, red, maroon, silver, iron grey, navy blue, sky blue and bottle green. This makes it easy installation with no messy painting of the sensors yourself. These have been professionally spray painted at the point on manufacture.
Should none of these colours match your car the sensors on the Veba and Nikkai range are supplied in a gloss black
finish and can be colour coded but only with a can of fine spray paint, do
not use a pot of touch up paint as this is too thick. Also do not use
metallic paint as the metal filings in the paint will bounce the sound waves
back on the surface of the sensor and generate false alerts. If you want to
colour the sensors silver then an acrillic paint is the best option for
this.
If you cannot source non metallic paint to match your bumper then very
carefully cover the centre circle on the sensors (about 10mm in diameter)
with masking tape or something similar before spraying. We advise colour
coding the sensors before installation.
