If you are looking for an easy DIY parking sensor system then these adhesive sensors maybe just what you are looking for. These sensors stick onto the rear of the car so you do not need to drill holes in the bumper, but they work just the same as traditional ultrasonic sensors. These adhesive parking sensors are available in Black or Silver. We recommend fitting them on the bumper or rear light cluster near where the boot opening is so you can tuck the wires into the car close to where you mount the sensors. These are then just a 2 wire connection to the white reversing light for power and to the chassis of the vehicle to earth the system. The brain box and a loud audio buzzer both mount in the boot

How it works
The system works by radiating ultrasonic beams throughout the area behind the vehicle. The beams are then reflected by obstructions behind the vehicle, and re-enter the sensors. The control box uses the reflected beam information to calculate the distance of the obstruction.
As with the other systems the Dolphin unit is activated when reverse gear is engaged. As the vehicle is reversing. When the vehicle is less than 1.5 metres from the obstruction the audible alert will emit intermittent bleeps. As the vehicle gets closer to the obstruction the frequency of the bleeps increases. At 30 centimetres from the obstruction the bleeps become a continuous solid tone.
